For American Market’s logo redesign, I wanted to go with a simple but bold look. The blocky typeface increases readability as well as appeals to a more traditional and conservative audience. The three stars present on the original logo (below) are still there, displayed beside the wordmark. Of course, the iconic red, white, and blue are still used in the redesign. Two different American Market badges serve to provide creative ways to use the logo in different circumstances. With a growing following on social media, Meg wanted a logo that would make her brand recognizable and attract new followers. Meg is an avid painter so incorporating a paint brush was very important to her. One of my responsibilities was to design logos for events that were happening over the summer. My classmates and I had the chance to work with the UT System to create a paid social campaign to increase awareness about their “Everywhere You Look, UT” mural project. After conducting research, creating content, and running a paid social campaign for a ten-day test period, my team put together this report to present to the UT System social media team.
